Wanting to document all the ways your little ones change throughout the years, even if it’s just annual photos for Christmas cards, can be difficult to achieve. The problem is, between all your family and career responsibilities, it’s hard to find time to plan a portrait session. Not to mention the added challenge of getting everyone in the family to cooperate for a session. It all leaves you feeling frustrated and stressed. Two Fall Family Sessions
After their first session with us, we helped Sarah and her husband design a beautiful 5-piece gallery and their Christmas cards for the year. Several months later we did their son’s cake smash session and added a couple of frames to their gallery wall. You may remember seeing her son’s cake smash session, here, that we did for his first birthday. Last fall they came back for their annual family portraits and we designed new Christmas cards again for them with their images from this session.
How do you find time to schedule annual family pictures?
Both of these parents have busy and demanding jobs. Dad’s job is especially busy in the fall – peak season for family portraits. When mom reached out to us she let us know that scheduling was a pain point for them and she was concerned about getting everything done in time for the holidays, let alone having the time to just get it done in general. I assured her that she’d have no problem with having beautiful family portraits in time for the holidays and she could enjoy them every day for years to come. We make the process easy by scheduling when she had time – wardrobe, session day, and ordering appointments, all planned around mom and dad’s hectic schedules.
