Birth Session at The Women’s Hospital of Texas | Welcome Baby E!

What an exciting time for the Pichon family. So many “to do” list, so many decisions and life changing events. It is a pleasure and a privilege to sit down with mom to be, bringing comfort and confidence that even during the most intense moments of labor and delivery each phase will be captured with regard and respect for all those involved in this most sacred of moments. Unlike making plans for your wedding where you have a definite date and time, we waited for Baby E with anticipation.

These little bundles of joy often defy their due dates and it is possible that there may be a conflict when your time comes. It is very important to me that the Pichons along with my other clients know that they will not be left alone when their date arrives. I have professional, reliable photographers ready to be by your side for the duration and completion of agreed package chosen, if for some reason I cannot be there myself.

Baby E missed her arrival date of July 18th and the decision was made to induce labor on the 24th. At this point, I am “on call” with everything ready to go. I received the call from dad, when dilation reached 6cm and headed straight to The Women’s Hospital of Houston to document the birth process!

As you scroll through these photos, you will see the love, the adoration and the most precious addition to the Pichon family. Be sure to check out their fusion video at the end of the post!

Everything was so still and calm outside the room as mom and dad patiently waited for baby E to arrive!

Sometimes the simple things bring the most comfort during labor, like a cool washcloth on the forehead.

Mom was SO strong during the entire process, but a single tear managed to escape.

A single tear on the cheek of a mother in labor.

Together, we waited for the joyous moment! As mom labors and comfort is given by dad and others, Baby E finally makes her entrance.

Watching moms get a chance to hold their baby for the first time is always one of my favorite things about birth sessions. What beautiful moment.

The Pichon family decided on a package that included digital files and a fusion video. These are one of my favorite products because of how the video clips really capture the raw emotion. If you’d like to include a fusion video, check out our birth packages and get in touch today!
