Maria initially inquired about a maternity session – and only a maternity session. She said that she and her husband would consider a newborn session if they had a good experience with their maternity session. Documenting the Maternity Milestone
It’s no secret that the majority of the maternity milestone belongs to mom. You are the one growing the baby, you’re the one whose body is changing, you’re the one with midnight cravings… and midnight potty breaks. Documenting the maternity milestone should also include capturing the support of your partner as you go through this journey together, and your little one in their final days of being an only child. These milestones are just as important to record.

It’s also no secret that newborn sessions tend to revolve around the newest member of your family – your newborn baby. They will only be this tiny for a very short time and capturing every detail is so important. Having their tiny toes, sweet little cheeks, and teeniest eyelashes in print will help you recall the memories of these fleeting days as the years progress and they continue to grow. The newborn stage is also a huge milestone for your family. Documenting the transition of your partner to a parent and your child to a sibling is huge. Seeing the bonds created in those first few weeks that you know will last a lifetime.
Documenting all First Year Milestones
