This momma was due with baby boy only a few days after her high-fashion maternity session we did in the studio! Do you remember seeing the outdoor maternity session on the blog a few posts back with this same gorgeous momma, dad, and big sis? If you need a refresher, here is the link. After we finished that session up, mom loved the experience so much that she decided to schedule an in-studio maternity session as well! We made sure our fantastic hair and makeup artist who did her first maternity session was available and got the session scheduled.
Studio Session with Two Maternity Gowns
Mom borrowed one of the beautiful open-front maternity gowns from the Client Closet as well as brought her own stunning dress she ordered just for this session. Before the session, mom got all glammed up and then changed into the gown from our Client Closet. We did a mix of poses in the open-front gown and big sister even joined in on the fun for a few shots! Want to know a secret? The dress that Little M has on is actually a skirt we have for moms in the Client Closet! We simply clipped it in the back, and she wore it like a strapless dress!
After mom did a wardrobe change into this beautiful green gown that she brought from home, we switched things up a bit and added a fan, some backlighting, and created a few more dazzling images.
When momma found us and knew she wanted to schedule both a maternity and newborn session, it was a treat that she trusted us for a second maternity session right in between the other two. Check back soon for the images of her handsome baby boy from his newborn studio session in Part 3!
