Your first pregnancy is so magical. Everything is new and exciting but also a little scary. Maternity sessions are meant to capture all that magic that you feel, show the excitement, celebrate the new life inside of you, and help you quell some of those fears you might have. These first-time parents chose to do an indoor maternity session and we had a great time talking about the magic of pregnancy and also helped mom calm her nerves a little about the upcoming birth. 
Indoor Maternity Wardrobe Choices
This momma is a fashionista! She regularly shares her OOTD on Instagram and has a really great style. When she came in for her wardrobe appointment we went over the options for an indoor maternity session. Our Client Closet has over 200 dresses for women in sizes S to XXXL along with maternity gowns that moms are able to choose from. Usually, clients will spend about 30 to 45 minutes going through options, trying things on, and making decisions with our help about what to wear. Salisha is a closet expert, though, and within a few minutes had already decided on the dress she wanted for her maternity session in the studio. Isn’t this dress from JessaKae just perfect?
The Magic of First-Time Parents
While every pregnancy is magical, and every baby is a gift, there’s something about becoming parents for the first time that is extra special. One of the reasons we love maternity sessions for first-time parents is that the focus truly is on the two of you and we get to photograph both of you, and the love you have for one another and your baby. You’re both making this life-changing transition into parenthood. All of your focus is on the decision to go on a babymoon or not, thinking of names, and wondering who he or she will look like. All of these thoughts combined with the sheer awe you have that the two of you created something so magical. And of course, along with all of that comes the nerves of how the pregnancy is going, whether the nursery is ready, whether YOU’RE ready, if you’ve baby-proofed the house, what the birth plan is, and whether you have all the right gadgets. None of that matters. Nobody is ever truly ready and soon you will be parents of a tiny little newborn. What matters is focusing on the magic.
