Introducing Baby T! This little guy came to see me with his mother all the way from Cleveland, TX! I’m so thankful for that! I never take it for granted that my work resonates so well with parents that they go out of their way to have me capture the special moments in their lives. I know I’ve said it before on the blog, but I really am so honored to be the one to document so many babies, children, and families. It just makes me so happy to be able to document memories for all my clients as well as help them create heirlooms and wall art for their homes. I truly have the best job!
Now it’s time to share Baby T with you. He gave us the perfect mix of both sleepy and awake shots. I couldn’t be more pleased with the collection of images we were able to create! Check out the recap of our time together below.
I love when I get to capture unique facial expressions like this one, plus parents always get such a kick out of it when they see a smirk, smile, or even a yawn on their little one’s face!
Of course, they always love the super sleepy ones, too! I mean, how cute is he in this shot? He look so peaceful!
For Baby T’s session, we focused on taupe, navy, and pops of orange and red. I love this little aztec print hat that we incorporated. It fit him to a T =)
Another one of the set-ups we put together included rustic trench bowl, crate, and quilt! You may wonder where I get all these items from, huh? Well, suffice to say that antique shops are my jam. I’m always on the look-out for new items to add to my stock of props and when I see something special and unique, I add it to my ever-growing supply and incorporate it into my next newborn session.
Ok – this might possibly be the cutest image in this collection. The hat is just adorable on Baby T and that foot? That foot is just icing on the cake!
I never know how a newborn session will go exactly but one thing is for sure – if your baby doesn’t want to sleep right away, that’s ok! It’s the perfect time for me to capture eyes wide open shots like these next two:
And sooner or later he will doze off and we can get sleepy poses like these:
