Are you looking for a last-minute newborn session?
Life is unpredictable, right? If you’re looking for a last-minute newborn session because time escaped you or something came up (in the case of today’s featured clients), I’m here for you! Photographing newborns in Katy, Texas (or anywhere in the world) is something I consider a privilege and gift. When families choose me to photograph the new precious life that surrounds them, I’m incredibly humbled. I know your newborn is precious cargo and I’m so grateful you’ve trusted me to work with your family during this most delicate time in your baby’s life.
Every moment means something with a newborn.
All the details matter. Every finger, toe, blink, half-smile, and sigh of contentment. It all matters, and I do my best to capture these small details in a way that’s authentic and suitable for heirloom prints that will be part of your family for generations.
I recently had a last-minute newborn session.
The Fuller family contacted me about photographing their daughter. They had plans with another photographer, who unfortunately fell ill during the time of their scheduled photo session. I hold slots in my calendar for last-minute newborn session cases such as this (babies are unpredictable, you know!). I was able to fill in the gap and we created a gorgeous last-minute newborn session that the Fuller family can enjoy for generations to come. Even though we didn’t have the usual time to plan this one together, everything worked out perfectly. Baby Fuller was an absolute dream – perfect in every way!
If you are on the fence about scheduling a newborn session, I want you to know one thing.
Newborn photos are part of your family’s legacy. I know that may sound like a grandiose statement, but they really truly are. I know you want to show off your new babe on social media. That’s 100% normal. However, have you considered how newborn photos will be cherished as your child grows? Sometimes they become a point of fond reflection at each birthday; they may be used for cards; comparing the faces of siblings and grandchildren; announcements; memory books; and of course in your child’s graduation slideshow. In reality, the photos may be used for generations to come. I am so thrilled to be able to help families preserve memories in this way and help you decide which art may be the best choice for your home and display space available.
I would love an opportunity to work with you, just as I’ve worked with the Fuller family and so many others. Enjoy these gorgeous priceless images from their session. If you’re local to Katy or the surrounding areas, please contact me to schedule your own newborn photo session.
