Welcome Friends!

I’m your resident portrait photographer, unapologetic tomboy, unabashed reality TV lover (the cheesier the better!) and memory-capturing sidekick. I’m here because I believe that everything happens for a reason.

Rachel and Logan found me thanks to a friend of mine whose newborn I photographed last year and I’m so glad we connected because I loved working with them for their maternity pictures! Today I’m sharing a little peek into their two part maternity session, which I am obsessed with!!

Maternity Pictures Houston Session | Part 1

We started out with portraits in a local park that I love for its open fields, running trails, and bridges, but now I love it for its wildflowers, too! Our timing actually couldn’t have been more perfect because we ended up there right smack in the middle of wildflower season and it was beautiful – wait until you see the field full of beautiful black-eyed Susans! They were amazing – I almost died when I saw them. I actually made a note to myself for next year to return to this very spot! So if you love this location as much as I do, be sure to reach out so we can coordinate, ha!

Here is a peek at Part 1 of Rachel and Logan’s session:

The second location we chose for the session was a surprise for Rachel and Logan. They had never been to this location before but when I told them about the great tree full of moss on one side and then described the pine trees that filter in the most perfect golden light as the sun is setting, they were sold! This is one of my very favorite locations for a shoot. If you look carefully, you’ll see that there is a field of dandelions in the background and its these wonderful dandelions that create that beautiful light at golden hour. Not only do the pine trees diffuse the light, but then it reflects off the dandelions and ta da! You get the dreamiest light!!

I’m so thankful for clients who trust me to choose locations with qualities that they may not see themselves, but that I know will look spectacular in their images. See for yourself in the images below!
