The O Family found me thanks to Dr. Watier over at Cinco Ranch Family Wellness. I have canvases up in the office space and that’s where Kerry noticed my work. When it came time for her to book her sunset maternity session in Katy TX this past September, I’m so glad she came to me because I just loved working with her and her family.
We chose one of my favorite local parks to capture Kerry, her husband Bobby and big sister O. I just love the mix of rustic charm and natural earthy tones that this location offers. We started the session with family portraits over by the old house while we waited for the sunset that I knew was going to be stunning. Kerry was just glowing, and she had the most perfect bump! I truly enjoyed working with her and hearing about her pregnancy experience so far.
As a mom of two boys, it’s always such a treat when I get to hang out with my little lady clients so one of my favorite parts of the session was when I gave big sister O a piggy back ride on our way to the most idyllic location for golden light images. She got such a kick out of thinking I was going to drop her! We shared so many good laughs and paired with a beautiful sunset minutes later, it made for the perfect end to the session.
I’m thrilled with how this session turned out, and even more thrilled that the O family ended up ordering a collection that included plenty of prints. They chose a glass keepsake box with 5×7 prints and I’m going to be working with them on wall art, too. As a photographer, creating tangible heirlooms for my clients is always such a highlight of my experience with them.
